Once you have completed your MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) process (by text or voice call), you will be prompted to "Protect your account". This prompt serves to initiate a process to guide you through setting up the Microsoft Authenticator app for MFA.

The Microsoft Authenticator app is a more secure method than using your phone number and will serve to further protect your account and MTU.
