Please follow the below steps in order to add a member to your Team/Channel:

1 - Go to the team name in the Teams list and click More options More options button > Add member.


*Please note, in order to add a user to a channel, they must first be added to the team*


To add a user to a Private Channel, click More options on the channel itself More options button > Add member.


(All team members automatically have access to public channels).

2 - Start typing in the email address of the person you want to add to your Team/channel. If the person is already on the CIT network, the search bar will start to show name as you type. If its an external/student account, you will need to type in the full email address. You can add as many people as you want from the search field. Once finished click 'Add' then 'Close'.

3 - The people you add to a Team/Channel will receive an email letting them know that they have been added to the Team/Channel.
