Attachments you can't receive
Outlook blocks potentially unsafe attachment files (including .bat, .exe, .vbs, and .js files) that can contain viruses.
Messages that include attachments will have a small paperclip icon. Some attached images (JPG, GIF, and PNG formats) will be previewed in the Reading Pane. Other attachment types will show as an icon in the reading pane or the message window.
To save the attachment, right-click (Mac: ctrl-click) the image or icon, then select Save image as or Save link as.
The maximum size of a message, including any attachments, is 25 megabytes (MB). The process of attaching a file to a message increases the size of the file, so an attachment (or combination of multiple attachments) whose size is close to 25 MB may cause a "too large to send" error.
