You can enrol in our password self-service system at http://password.cit.ie, which will allow you to reset your password any time. 




When you visit password.cit.ie you will be presented with the following:



If you have forgotten your password, select the Reset Password option on the left. 


You will be asked to input your domain user name - this is usually in the format of firstname.lastname.  Please leave out the @cit.ie. 



You will be asked to input answers to the security questions you set during enrollment followed by a captcha form for security. You have five minutes to complete the operation before having to start again.



If you have been locked out, you will need to select the Unlock Account option. 



Again you will be asked for your domain user name. Please leave out the @cit.ie.

If you are not locked out, and have not forgotten your password, please login on the homepage and you can manually change your login details. 



Please note that once you have successfully changed your staff password, you must update all devices that use your login credentials; mobile devices you have your email linked to, and/or eduroam need to be updated with the new credentials.
